This event has just about everything for the sustainability-minded family! Here’s all that you need to know about the event

Electronic Waste Recycling

We’re excited to have Green Century Recycling on-site to help you safely and sustainably recycle your hard-to-recycle electronic products. Bring your old computers, those VHS tapes you’ve already digitized, your batteries, and that huge box of mystery cords you’ve been collecting. Each e-waste donation costs $5 per item or $20 per load and some of the items require an additional fee for Green Century Recycling (cost depends on the item).

Yard Sale

The Faubion community has donated some fun items. Come check out what we have from kitchen appliances to clothing and support the Faubion PTA in the process.

Want to donate items to the yard sale? Bring your items to one of these three drop-off periods at Faubion: Fri, April 11th (3:30-4:15pm), Sat, April 12th (10am-12pm), and Sun, April 13th (10am-12pm). Please donate only lightly used, clean, and functioning items please! What we’re looking for: toys, games, electronics, clothes, jewelry, shoes. Please no large items such as furniture!

Bottle Drop

Bring your empty cans and bottles to recycle and contribute to our bottledrop fundraiser. Bonus is that we’ll be getting 20% extra for all bags donated during Earth Week!

Recycled Art Projects and Climate Action Resources!

Get the kids involved in the action with a fun, recycled art project that will be led by SCRAP Creative Reuse! And find out about how you can take action and talk to various climate justice orgs.

T-shirt & Sweatshirt Upcycling

Bring one of your used light-colored, plain t-shirts or sweatshirts and for $10 we can print our exclusive Faubion Earth Day print right on-site. Don’t have a plain shirt? We’ll have a few short-sleeve t-shirts and tank tops for purchase ($15 with shirt + print) to choose from, but supplies are limited
